Filthy Canadians

Yesterday I had a go at the unwashed Irish (well, just SID really) but today I’m eating my words as it turns out that we Canucks are just as filthy.

A survey on hygiene practices reveals that many Canadians admit they may not wash their hands properly after sneezing or coughing or before eating or handling food.

And nine per cent confessed they sometimes fail to wash up after going to the toilet.

  1. and 23% of them don't bother going to the toilet. Choosing instead to just piss and shit where they sit.

    Dirty fucking mongs.

  4. In Cardiff most men wash their hands after a piss. Here in Pontyhotpant almost none of them do.

  7. We'll have to sort out this language thing.

To wash up over here just means to do the washing up (crockery, saucepans and cutlery). So if we were to wash up directly after having a shit...

  8. Ginny: Eeewww indeed.

Geoff: I'd completely forgotten you have a different meaning. This also reminds me that I've been planning to post about our language differences and quirks.
    *makes reminder note to self*

  11. Wow, I'm SO glad you included that last bit about filthy hands preparing food, because tomorrow I have to go to a big foodie church gathering with lots of home-cooked *gulp* germs. Goody. *sigh*
