Got Houseplants?
In the last post, I asked you to send me your garden photos for the Eighth Annual Infomaniac Garden Photos Event. So far, I've received entries from several of you Bitches.
This message, then, is for the Mr. Peenees of this world who said, "Since the people who bought my house insisted the yard come with it, I will not be able to compete this year."
If you don't have a garden, send me a photo of your houseplant(s). Or the floral arrangement on your dining room table. Or tie a bow around that stalk of celery in your fridge.
I do, however, draw the line at this sort of thing...

Eye Wash Station
For the benefit of our more sensitive readers, an eye wash station is being installed, here on Infomaniac...

[via]
Comments have poured in over the years from distressed readers such as Mr. Peenee who said, "I don't understand why that harridan continues to exhort us to "Click to enlarge..." when there is already more information on hand than we need. All I want is to bleach my eyes."
We here at Infomaniac wish to point out that bleach is hazardous. Therefore we have installed an eye wash station for your health and safety.

Virgil, Quick, Come See, There Goes Robert E. Lee
Click here to read an excellent post by Mr. Peenee regarding the removal of Confederate monuments of the Civil War.

Note #1: My idea for posting this image came from a comment by Normadesmond on Peenee's post.
Note #2: This blog post title contains lyrics from "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down," a song written by Robbie Robertson and released on the 1969 album, The Band.
Note #3: We are installing this statue of Divine in the Infomaniac Sculpture Garden.

The Perfect Weekend
In our previous post, when asked to describe his weekend, Mr. Peenee said, "I'm staying in bed with the cat"...

Mr. Peenee's just described my perfect weekend.

Mr. Peenee's Garden Photos
Our next entry in the SEVENTH ANNUAL INFOMANIAC GARDEN PHOTOS EVENT is MR. PEENEE...

(Actual untouched photo of Mr. Peenee)
Over to you, Peenee. Tell us about your garden. (And remember to click to enlarge photos.)
A lovely old timey Buddleia...

I love its fragrance, especially this old one. I have several more further back in the yard with much more dramatic foliage, dark purple with an orange tip, but this is the easiest one for me to get to and also the strongest smell.
A close up of said bed with this years candidates for color, begonias, caladiums, and coleus. I know they're annual to the rest of the world, but here, some of these are 3 years old and going strong...

Next, a view down into my patio edged by a large raised bed, in which I have been switching out plants for all these years, never satisfied and then nostalgic for some bed of Calla lilies I dug up in the Bush administration...

The foxglove is one of those fortuitous accidents, a gypsy that wandered into the yard probably from some bird's poop and keeps coming back every year. Unfortunately, it's in the middle of the path, so you have to navigate around it, I think it's worth it...

I love these tiny, tiny Rain Lilies...

They bloom when it rains or you water them. They're so small the leaves look like a grass and so my new gardener was weeding them out until I sweetly told him to knock it off.
And finally, my annual vista of my back yard, taken from the window behind my toilet. It's the best view I have...

There really is a path through there, and at right angles to it is a new trail caused by my clear cutting tumbled down the hill through the irises and ferns and crocosmia. Oh well, everybody needs a little extra space and light every now and then.
Thank you, Mr. Peenee!

Justin Trudeau's Socks

Mr. Peenee asks, "Did you see the story in the New York Times about Justin Trudeau's socks? We are all 12 year old girls at heart when it comes to Canadia's king or whatever he is."
And so we present a sampling of Justin Trudeau's socks, just for you, Bitches.
Maple Leaf socks: a Canadian emblem...

Giving German Chancellor Angela Merkel an eyeful ... of his NATO socks...

Mr. DeVice will appreciate Justin's Star War socks...

Being presented with a Toronto Maple Leafs hockey jersey while wearing Montreal Canadiens hockey socks...

Sock pride!...

And finally, Mr. Peenee's socks!...

... which were obviously knocked off when he saw Justin Trudeau's socks.

Mr. Peenee's Hobo Heaven
Do you remember Mistress MJ's little trip to Bitchfield?
Mr. Peenee says, "I opened a branch of Mr. Peenee's Trailer Park there, it's called Hobo Heaven."

Click pic to enlarge.

"You get a can of Sterno and a dirty blanket when you check in and the showers (a hose run over from the faucet next door) features cucumber scented lice soap.
Infomaniac bitches get a special rate, but it's not a discount."

Peenee's Park 'n' Pitstop
Back in September, Mr. Peenee left a comment here on Infomaniac, saying, "I want to run a trailer park, some place for all the Infomaniac tramps to call home. I would name it Peenee's Park n' Pitstop."
Bitches, Mr. Peenee's wish has been granted...

Ladies Who Lunch
The table is set for lunch. Here we see Princess, Norma, Cookie...

and Peenee...

The ladies are looking toward the door. Well, all except for Princess who seems lost in thought.
What's going on here?
