Little Britain for Beginners – Continued

The Deveres: Bubbles, Roman and Desiree

What began on Infomaniac as an introduction to Little Britain for Americans and Canadians has now become a request line for Little Britain clips, thanks to you lot of Brits.

Midget Arse and Piggy and Tazzy want to see the uber-zaftig character Bubbles Devere.

Today’s Clip: Roman Devere is visiting the spa and enjoying a facial when in walks his ex-wife Bubbles. Roman doesn’t notice Bubbles enter the room because his eyelids are covered with cucumber slices. Bubbles slips the spa attendant some hush money. The attendant slips out of the room and Bubbles takes her place. Bubbles begins massaging Roman and throwing in some “extras” when in walks the current Mrs. Devere, Desiree.

Little Britain for Beginners – Continued

Our Hardhouse just left a comment on my previous posting asking me to find a clip of Dafydd closing the live show with a disco number called "I'm Gay.”

Here you go Hardhouse…

Little Britain for Beginners

Everyday this week I’ll show clips from the popular BBC TV comedy sketch show Little Britain. A personal fave on the telly chez Infomaniac.

My postings are aimed at those Canucks and Yanks who haven’t yet caught the show. If, by the end of this week you like what you see, the Yanks can view Little Britain on BBC America and the Canucks on BBC Canada or Showcase. Or you can purchase DVDs of the series.

As for the Brits reading this post, tell us what you like (or don’t like) about the show.

Today’s Clip: Daffyd Thomas (aka The Only Gay in the Village) has set up a Gay and Lesbian stall at the village fete.

For those of you who want details about the show, there’s loads of info and links on Wikipedia and on the BBC’s Little Britain page.

Want more of Daffyd? Here he is …

Bitty

This video clip is for First Nations who used the word “bitty” in a recent posting. You’re wondering why I laughed at the word “bitty” in your posting. This clip will explain why. And as you don’t have your sound card yet, I’ll fill you in…

The word “bitty” is a combination of the words “breast” and “titty.” It’s from a recurring sketch in the BBC TV comedy show Little Britain. A grown man utters the word “bitty” whenever he wants to be breastfed by his mother.
