Sport and Summer and Such

What with watching the World Cup, the onset of summer sunshine, and projects aplenty, posts will be sporadic over the next couple of months here on Infomaniac.

I shall see you now and then nonetheless.

Stay tuned, Bitches.

Put Your Vuvuzelas DOWN!

The World Cup is over.

Much to your relief, Mistress MJ will not be discussing it for another four years.

So you can pack up your vuvuzelas and flip flops and go home.

But first, go over and visit our token Spanish Infomaniac Bitch, Leni Qinan, and wish her congratulations on Spain’s big win.

This just in from Leni…

“You would enjoy the street party here: there’s music, dancing and Spanish wine for everybody. And when the wine is over, I suppose everybody will start jumping nekid into the fountains! :)”

¡Felicitaciones, Leni!

Gennaro Gattuso

Italy midfielder Gennaro Gattuso has revealed that he seeks divine intervention in the final match.

"You simply don't stop Zidane," said Gattuso. "He is one of the strongest players - when he has the ball you have to do the sign of the cross and hope he misses."

Patriotic Baboons Steal England Footie Flags

cheeky monkey

Baboons at Knowsley Safari Park in Merseyside have built up a huge collection of World Cup England flags … by stealing them from visitors’ cars.

Visitors are being warned to remove the flags from their vehicles before driving through the section where the 120 pilfering primates roam.

Safari Park general manager David Ross said: "If you think about it, this is hardly surprising. All the baboons were born here on Merseyside so they are Scousers through and through and probably just as football mad as everyone else in the area.”
