Man with toenail polish
Homo Escapeons left a comment in my “sandals and socks” posting stating that men are doing ladies a great service by hiding their bare feet. Homo goes on to say, “We don’t decorate our toes.”
I have news for you, Homo. Men do decorate their toes. Take a look at these photos of men who polish their toenails.

I knew the second that I clicked publish comment that someone (probably you)would prove me wrong.

but most men do have gross feet and don't paint their toes..

ReplyDeleteAww crap-I have two boys. I let them paint their toes. I prefer blue or clear, b/c orange can almost look too 'pink'. Am I doing them a disservice-Oooh, do I really want to know what you guys think of that question?
ReplyDelete~D: I used to take a friend's little boys out on excursions and we'd always do goofy things. They asked to try my lipstick and paint their nails. Of course I obliged. I caught royal hell for doing it from their mother. Nonetheless, I think it's harmless fun. It's only when their friends tease them that it can be a problem.

ReplyDeleteThat is one of the scariest male feet photos I've ever seen. What nail fungus is he covering up that caused his left big toenail to be so mal-formed. Is he pruny from being in the water, or is his hide really that ropey/veiny? Ick. I'll never get to sleep tonight. That picture is like birth control. Ugly-ass sandals and uglier feet.

ReplyDeleteI have been painting my toes for a couple of years now. I like the look and I have great looking toes and feet. I take good care of them I am also straight and still find the painting looks good on good toes. Some guys are better hiding those feet!

ReplyDeleteThanks. Men are put into a box by society and told what to do , how to dress, how to look. Is a painted toe nail or two going to really upset the balance of society? Come on it's for fun. I find that they look better and I take better care of my feet. I only have two! I also paint them for a very special reason. They are a reminder to me how fragile life can be.
ReplyDeleteI love the celeb toes that are painted. I think they look great with sandles and jeans or being dressed up! Some guys have nice feet...others don't. If you have it flaunt it...right?

ReplyDeleteI am 49 and enjoy painting my toes, when wearing sandles most people do not notice, but when they do I usually get a smile. I like sally hansen "in the navy". Inside it looks black but in the sunlight it is dark blue
ReplyDeleteI'm happily married to a wonderfully fun and open-minded gal who actually got me into this about four years ago. I had always admired her perfect nails, and one day when she was painting her toenails, she noticed my interest and suggested that I try it. I was instantly hooked!

It's good to see men are painting their toes without fear. This means guys are paying attention to their feet and that's good. Some of us have nice looking feet to begin with and those that have troll feet will look better with a little paint. Try it , it's fun.
ReplyDeleteI am male and my nail colour changes almost 3 times a week. To fuck with people who say no to it. I usually paint them pink or red. Sometimes purple. I am not gay! I have a girl friend who I have been going out with for a year 1/2. Ella is yet to say don't do that. We paint each others nails.
