I like a packet of crisps and a pickled egg. The recipe is simple. Open pack of crisps, put pickled egg in and eat. Wash down with a pint of mild'n'bitter or a Bishop's Finger. Jx

ReplyDeleteApple-pecan stuffed pork loin, pot roast, lentil & savory sausage soup, mushroom bisque, fresh beets & greens, fresh turnips & greens, sugar snap peas gratinee, creamed garlic red bliss potatoes, curried rice & sour chicken, pecan pie, peach pie, upside-down blueberry cheesecake, all these without even thinking about whatever else I cooked....
Now, with my temples still moist from the heat of the kitchen, I have no fucking clue what recipe to submit...
*Goes out to porch to stir fermenting muscadine grapes, because "wine waits for no man".*

ReplyDeleteI've grown a scotch bonnet plant this year. I have a full plant.
Lawrence tells me the more stressed the plant whilst growing...the hotter the chillis get. Well, I put half a chilli in a pot and that fucker is demon.
Oh yeah...and my public service announcement. When handling chillis wash hands with oil before washing hands. Do not put near eyes or genitals. And do so several times. That shit lingers.
Old Knudsen lives on the edge and so does not do recipes, he does do pot luck in dumpsters.Half eaten food, half eaten hobos ya just never know. All he needs is a bottle of hot sass.
