A Blue World Cup: Gli Azzurri versus Les Bleus

World Cup July 5, 2006: France 1 Portugal 0

Next up: Italy versus France in the 2006 World Cup finals on Sunday, July 9th.

Both teams are nicknamed “The Blues” for the colour of their home uniforms. Team Italy is nicknamed “Gli Azzurri” and Team France is “les Bleus.”

As you know, I’m supporting Italy (Forza Azzurri!!!) but I know several of you are behind France. So this posting is dedicated to you along with these photos of Thierry Henry and Zinedine Zidane.

May the best team win.
