That’s why we’ve opened the Infomaniac Thrift Shop! (Or Infomaniac Charity Shop if you’re a UK reader.)
Here’s how it works.
Email me a photo of an object that you’re ready to part with but can’t be bothered creating an eBay listing for, organizing a yard sale or toting off to your local thrift shop.
Include a brief description of the object.
We’ll hold an auction here next week for all your “gently used” items.
No money will be exchanged.
It will be a battle of wits to see who has the best reason for wanting your particular item.
You (the “seller”) will choose who you think deserves to give your item a good home.
So send me a photo of your thrift shop item this week. Deadline Sunday, June 19th.
Make it something lightweight as you’ll have to cover the postage to mail the item to some other lucky Infomaniac Bitch who may, for all you know, live half-way around the world.
Postage arrangements will be made between you and the person who wants your item.
You may submit more than one item if you wish but don’t go crazy.
