I put a spell on you
As the 2006 Football World Cup approaches this June and July in Germany, so too does the merchandising.
A German company, Fussi Deluxe, is marketing the FooTooKit: a football voodoo doll (That’s a soccer voodoo doll to Canadians and Americans.)
Kit includes voodoo doll football player, pins, and flags of the World Cup teams.

Do do that voodoo that you do so well
That's "soccer" to Canadians, Americans, and posh Brits.
ReplyDeleteDo they do them in Middlesbrough colours?
France is going to get a pin right ...in...the..knee
ReplyDeleteGeoff & Pamer: Are you in on any pools yet? If so, who are you placing your money on?
ReplyDeleteThat is the coolest thing I've seen in a ling time.
ReplyDeleteoops, I meant long not ling.
ReplyDeletewhen they do one for soccer MOMS, y'all buy me a couple, ok?
ReplyDeleteFirst Nations: The Soccer Mom Voodoo Doll Kit will include an SUV and a bag of sliced oranges.
ReplyDeleteThe smart money's on Brazil (as ever).
ReplyDeleteIf I was a betting man (which I'm not) I wouldn't bet against Brazil.
I love football but it can be bloody predictable.
A bag of sliced oranges? Are you taking the pith?
I have a final four pool so far (more to come I'm sure)
ReplyDeleteso my final four would be
Czech Republic
Brazil
