Today there will be a visit to Zach the adorable barber for trim and shave. Tomorrow i’ll be changing out the wiring, breaker, and receptacle on the circuit that feeds the fridge. Somewhere in there a trip to the liquor store for groceries. As they say in New Orleans, “make groceries.”
November is exactly the right time to plant tulips (especially in pots) as they get diseases if the soil's too warm, and you can still get away with putting daffs, crocuses etc in even now. They're all completely frost-hardy. Jx
I'm chucking out that sofa, that lamp, those curtains and that wig - and going shopping! Jx
ReplyDeleteSuch a material girl.
DeleteAfter so much debauchery last weekend and this week, I'm relaxing and kicking my legs up.
ReplyDeleteMISTRESS MADDIE: Legs up… so, a typical day?

ReplyDeleteHAYWARD: A shave? But it’s Movember!
DeleteI'm going to the library.
ReplyDeleteLX: I’d avoid the “True Crime” section, if I were you.
ReplyDeleteEat, Drink, and Be Merry!
ReplyDeleteEROS: This is one of those rare moments when I take the Bible at its word.
DeleteI'm hoping to pick up some bargains in a charity shop. I'm after a sofa, a lamp, some curtains, and a wig...
ReplyDeleteMR. DeVICE: You need to visit JON.
DeleteI'll bet he's got more where that came from.
As divine said, "I'm all dressed up and ready to fall in love." In other words, I'm staying in bed with the cat.
ReplyDeletePEENEE's just described my idea of the ideal weekend.
DeleteHopefully it won't involve lugging furniture about.

MISS SCARLET: Especially if you've been drinking champagne.
DeleteI planted the bulbs ordered that finally showed up yesterday. That was my weekend goal.
ReplyDeleteJEFFERY: Uh-oh, The Mistress forgot to plant her bulbs and the frost is now on the pumpkin.
DeleteBut fortunately, the tulips continue to pop up each spring.
Of course, we'll be expecting photos from you for the Eighth Annual Infomaniac Garden Photos Event.

DeleteJON: Thanks for the gardening tip!
DeleteI’ll pull my green thumb out and get planting.
