Mr. Cookie’s Neighbourhood

As promised earlier, Infomaniac presents a video featuring our very own MR. COOKIE!

It's part of a series that WOSU-TV is doing on Columbus, Ohio neighborhoods in front of the 2012 Bicentennial of the city.

Cookie (aka Stuart) and his husband are featured in the opening shots in front of Ohio Stadium (approximately 24 seconds into the clip,) they interview Cookie throughout the hour long program, and then the husband, Rocky the dog and Cookie get a family shot at the end of the program!

Columbus, Ohio: University District

Sit back and enjoy the colourful history of Mr. Cookie’s neighbourhood, Bitches!

Can’t get enough of Mr. Cookie, our resident local historian?

  2. Have him autograph one of his books for you before he forgets us little people.

  4. And as for my husband, I am the single luckiest man on earth to be married (in Five States and the district of Columbia, and Canada, the UK, the Netherlands, etc.) to him. I could never accomplished any of these books without his support and his encouragement. I am one very fortunate man, indeed.

  8. Cool Cookie, this is a cool documentary. You and hubs are adorable! And your neighborhood is pretty awesome too. Reminds me of the U district in Seattle only without all the hipster dorks. Which is a good thing.

  15. Fascinating and riveting documentary, and that coming from a polar bear who would never, I mean NEVER sit through a 56 minutes and 51 seconds documentary... but what wouldn't a bitch do for his mistress?

All joking aside, I love history and the pace of the film is fast enough to avoid boredom yet we don't miss any piece of information. Everything is so very clearly exposed. It is fascinating what it is needed to make a neighbourhood, isn't it? All the people, the work, the will power... and the love!

*puts University Disctrict, Columbus, Ohio on his list of places to visit*

Thanks Mistress for bringing this out to our attention and thank you Mr. Biscuit! ;)
    Hugs

Wouldn’t Cookie make a marvelous tour guide?

In a world where we increasingly have the attention span of houseflies, Mr. Cookie holds us captive in a most educating and entertaining way.

And did you know that I have a great interest in the history of YOUR town?

Whenever I’m in Montréal, I spend a lot of time photographing old buildings and exploring areas of historical significance.

Recently, I sat outside Montréal’s Hôtel de Ville, re-creating Charles De Gaulle’s famous Vive le Québec libre! speech in my head.
