Trubama Bromance

Steamy foreign affairs!

Obama + Trudeau = "Trubama" or "Obeau."

No matter how you say it, love is in the air.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has just wrapped up a three-day visit to the White House.

Obama: “And to the great credit of their people, Canadians from British Columbia to New Brunswick have so far rejected the idea of building a wall to keep out your southern neighbors. We appreciate that.”

Trudeau: “May the special connection between our two countries continue to flourish in the years to come, and may my gray hair come in at a much slower rate than yours has.”

Obama: “On a serious note, this visit reminds us of what we love about Canada. It’s the solidarity shown by so many Canadians after 9/11 when they welcomed stranded American travelers into their homes. It’s the courage of your service members standing with us in Afghanistan, and now in Iraq. It’s the compassion of the Canadian people welcoming refugees, and the Prime Minister himself who told those refugees, “you’re safe at home now.”

“From my perspective, what’s not to like?” President Obama said of Trudeau.

Trudeau described Obama as "a man of both tremendous heart and tremendous intellect".“A deep thinker,” Trudeau said of Obama, “with a big heart but also a big brain.”

There wasn't a pause between the words "big" and "brain" but we here at Infomaniac believe there should have been.

What Infomaniac readers really want to know is, who's the top and who's the bottom?

  1. Clearly, Trudeau is top. After all, Canada is on top of, or north of, (most of) the U.S.

    Yay! First!

  6. Thank goodness that diplomatic talks to repatriate Celine Dion & Justin Bieber back to the Great White North have begun. If successful, it will be Obama's & America's greatest achievement since sending man to the moon!

Which by the way is plan B: Send Celine Dion & Justin Bieber to the moon...one way.

    1. EROS: Obama said to Trudeau, “Mr. Prime Minister, after today, I think it’s fair to say that here in America you may well be the most popular Canadian named Justin.”

  7. Who knows, but I can just bet their both hung like horses. After three days, that would still explain the smiling and why the wives looked wore out but relived for a break. I also hear Trudeau said, " Once you go black, you don't go back." this is bound to open new doors for a countries.
