I wonder how many Bible shoplifters take it back to the store when they get to the bit that says "thou shalt not steal"?
ReplyDelete*snorts at betty*
ReplyDeleteooh, all of them men (bar ms winterson, although she almost qualifies on account of her sexual leanings)
what does it MEAN?
Mostly a's, b's, and c's. And only one in the l-z's. I think this says something about bookstore security.
ReplyDeleteAs does the Bible fact. They must trust Christians.
Abbie Hoffman isn't on the list so can we assume that people pay for 'Steal This Book' yet nick the others?
ReplyDeleteI have Naked Lunch by Burroughs that I stole from a friend but I guess that doesn't count since she probably paid for it.
ReplyDeletegeoff: that sort of insight is what made the book 'freakonomics'
ReplyDeleteget scribbling, man
and lo, after geoff published 'bookonomics', greater security was installed on the A-F section of library fiction sections and fewer books were nicked
