To Our Australian Friends

To Princess, Damien, Ute and all our Australian friends in the path of the flood waters.

Keep us posted, if you can.

Our thoughts are with you.

p.s. Hip waders are almost as unfashionable as Crocs. Unless you look like Ava Gardner…

  4. Is that a rod she is handling?
There are (still) no crocodiles on Damien's pics. I really thought they have them all and everywhere down under.

  9. Awww, that's so sweet... thank you MJ and everyone.

I'm down South, in South Australia (Adelaide), and thankfully not in any danger.

It is absolutely horrendous up there in Qld... the death toll is rising, along with the water.
The flood water still hasn't peaked in Brisbane yet... that's to be expected sometime today. They say it is going to be worse than the 1974 Brisbane floods.

Keep the Queenslanders in your thoughts and prayers...they definitely need them.

  12. Hi all.

I have made it to high ground and am high and dry in a hotel.

We had to get out when the power went off and the first wave of the flood surge hit. Now the second peak will hit in the early am around 4 and will be higher and we pray that all those who are in flooded areas are alright.

Fingers crossed we will be back in our apartment building in a couple of days.
