Everybody Out Of The Pool!

UPDATE: (July 5)
The Google guys are working on my comments problem. Let's hope it gets solved.

We interrupt this party to bring you a public service announcement from our friend Eroswings. You can read about it HERE.

Eros is valiantly leading a crusade to have my missing comments restored and the comments of fellow Infomaniac bitch Leni Qinan.

All my comments on your blogs (and my blog) have been wiped out. Also, any comments I leave using my regular log-in/stripey tights avatar mysteriously vanish after 24 hours.

Eros asks you to “Please help us spread the word and join in our group action starting Wednesday 30 June 2010 to Tuesday 6 July 2010.

Mistress MJ hopes you can visit Eroswings HERE to read about how Infomaniac bitches can make a difference and restore the missing comments.

After all, it was the work of Eroswings and many of you bitches who helped restore Infomaniac when it was removed earlier this month.

You may now return to the party in progress. (see previous post)

Note: Mistress MJ returns now to her summer hiatus.

  2. Ha! Keep your eye on this comment of mine as it will probably disappear in approximately 24 hours.

  3. Ha!

This comment, as you can see, is not posted using my regular log-in/avatar. It will remain here.

But note that I've also posted (above this one) and below Normadesmond, a regular comment using my usual log-in/avatar.

Let's see if it disappears in about 24 hours.

  9. Wow I missed it ALL!?!

Well, too bad hopefully there'll be one again next year. It was just too bad as my boyfriend and I planned to enter the nude compo. Buhuuu!

    Bend over.

Mistress MJ must administer your shots.

    Sigh.

How many calories are in a comment?

LENI: I'll post my letter to the Google guys tonight and work a bit on Facebook too before I go back to the party ...

    Thanks, Leni!

By the way, we’re running low on vodka.

HEFF: Does that mean I get your comments back for MY blog too ?

If enough people complain to Google, then MAYBE I’ll be able to comment again and MAYBE they might even return all my comments that I left on YOUR blog too.

Everything I ever said to anybody on ANY Blogger blog is gone.

CYBERPOOF: Wow I missed it ALL!?!

For a brief, fleeting moment, I actually thought you had a real boyfriend.

Sometimes I can be so foolish.

  11. I've made a note to be irritating to Google tomorrow (as opposed to being irritating to everyone else).

I put in an order for a couple of boxes of champagne, want me to order more Grey Goose as well? Vodka has a lovely exfoliating effect on my skin, really must stop plunging my head face first into the fountain. Does sting my eyes.

  15. Don't know, has Eros some military connection? Will ask him.

People gather and light the torches, slowly but steadily it should built up and people in the amphitheatre will realize that

    the aboriginies get nervous!

  16. Something seems to be going on at the Blogger Forum.

    Please read this:

MJ, I've emailed you about it. Maybe you should show there and see what happens.

    ReplyDelete
  17. It's working, people! Your support is making a huge difference!

MJ, they want you to join in the discussion here! The way the Forum works is that the blog owner has to participate to show that there really is a problem. All they want to know is if you are the owner of Infomaniac and what the problem is.

Everyone else, thank you for your support! It's only day 2 of the surge but we're getting some positive results. Please keep showing your support by participating in our group action! See my blog or the the above link for more information!

  18. BITCHES: Thank you for alerting me to the situation over on the Google forum.

I’ve added my two cents worth so that they can see that I am the blog owner and that yes, there is a real problem with the missing comments.

Thanks ever so much for your ongoing support.

Please understand that I cannot be with you at this time nor always respond to your email messages although I am very grateful that you’re keeping in touch.

I shall rejoin you when the dust settles. This summer is a very stressful time for me, otherwise I would be participating more with you.

I am truly impressed and thankful for your incredible support!

  19. Now if the demi-god of google would be so nice and admit that there is a problem ... anyway:

Its Eros strategy and it workes!

  21. I give up - I am thrown out of the forum for the fourth time in less than 40 minutes: "Internal error 500" or "unknown error". I'll check this later.
Mr. Nightcruizer seems not to accept that there is a problem.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Just testing: I tried to leave a comment but it gave me a 404!

    ReplyDelete
  23. OK, well I'll try again: What I wanted to say was that, when nitecrurz asked if anyone else had seen this problem reported by others on Blogger Help, that I have been on Help for a couple of weeks and haven't seen a single other report about it. Just you and Leni.

I hope this is info you can use. Sorry for the multiple replies, the first time I commented I got a 404 Error.

  24. I'm not using my regular Blogger log-in/username/avatar right now because it still might disappear.

I don't know about YOU bitches, but I need a drink.

THANK YOU EROS AND THANK YOU BITCHES!

They're now working on the problem, trying to figure out how to solve it.

They want everyone to hold back on commenting further on the forum for now while they try to sort it out.

Let's hope Leni and I get our comments back soon.

    ReplyDelete
  25. @ Mago, I'll kick Nitecruzr's ass on your behalf for having throwwn out of the forum, but that will be after my comments are back.

    Thank you very much, guys.

Eros, your surge worked! It was long (7pm to almost 2am CET) but it was worth it!

It's late night over here but I'm not tired, rather very happy to belong to such a wonderful blogging community. This is the bright side of this unpleasant issue.

You guys are quite something, never saw anyone like you in the blogosphere. *wipes away tiny tear*

    You're great!!!

  26. AMEN, Sistah!

    We heart Infomaniac bitches!

  27. I need a drink to recover from reading the forum thread.
How frustrating was that?! Especially when we were all accused of being the same person posting duplicate questions...!!!
I mean it's easily checked out isn't it? It beggars belief.

  28. Scarlet, I have been reading the archives, and it seems that there have been spammers and trolls who've used that tactic of sockpuppets--posting under numerous alias--in an attempt to either resurrect their splogs (spamblogs) or just be nuisance on the Forum. I guess it happens quite frequently that it's almost become standard for the Blogger Forum people to assume we might be spammers or trolls. I would not want to do their jobs and fight trolls and spammers on a daily basis. I'd imagine it gets frustrating when dealing with people demanding action and complaining all the time on the forum. It kind of makes it a bit more challenging sorting out the real genuine problems from trolls/spammers making up problems for everyone.

Luckily, cooler heads prevailed and we've all managed to put our heated emotions aside and cooperate fully with the Blogger Forum to resolve this situation of the vanishing comments of MJ and Leni. I'm very appreciative of everyone's efforts on both sides, and it's paid off, because now, Blogger is aware that there is a problem.

Thank you everyone for your help and support! Our actions were much more effective and had a greater impact because we all worked together!

All we have to do now is work with Blogger to help return the missing comments and cooperate fully with them to solve this problem. Thank you! Thank you for your support!

And thank you, nitecruzr for working with us to resolve this situation. Your patience and your hard work is much appreciated!

MJ, here's a copy and paste of your test comment from above, in case it vanishes in a few hours.

    HI EVERYONE!!!

  31. See what happens when you fabulous people get together and party? You've got Google hopping to sort out the problem.

I suspect it's just to get rid of The Bitches so they can have a bit of peace and quiet, but as long as they can sort the problem...awesome.

I'm off to Trinidad on Wednesday. I'll be bringing round good West Indian rum to the parties.

This gives new meaning to the words "I'm speechless".

  37. Any news about the Blogger people, MJ? They must be quite busy fixing what they've just broken, LOL.

No news from my old blog. Test comments still disappearing. Old comments still vanished. This is starting to be annoying.

I better go home to see the soccer match. >:-(

    ReplyDelete
  38. No word from the Blogger people yet, Leni.

I'm just getting ready to watch the match (the national anthems are in progress) but will quickly publish a new post to take our minds off the comments conundrum.

    ReplyDelete
  39. MJ, I'm still optimistic that your missing comments and Leni's are still in existence on Blogger's servers. I've read archives on missing comments that were eventually restored (took some people about a month) and that's why I'm hopeful we'll get the comments back. The major fiasco of the mass, vanishing comments yesterday was a huge kick in Blogger's a$$, and it got their attention. That means all their employees were focused on solving the problem. Now it's just a matter of figuring out how to get that kind of focus on solving the problem of your vanishing comments. I sense an incredible opportunity. Now it's just a matter of utilizing it the best way possible.

  40. EROS: Yay!

I’m hopeful and trying to keep calm and relax about it while they work out the kinks.

Thank you for EVERYTHING you've done!!!
