Someone thousands of miles away whips out a banana, and you show up on your knees before one can even press the publish button...

  5. The second freeze related Infomaniac Public Service Announcement within 24 hours - did the houseboys suffer from over-exposition when they were allowed their ten minutes in the backyard ? Really - it's not that they grow on trees, youknow ?!

  6. The deep freeze continues.

Currently, with the “wind chill” factored in, it is -39°Celsius…for you Americans, that’s -38.2°Fahrenheit.

    Swaddle your banana.

  11. -38.2°F! Holy moly, that's cold! I think we're feeling a little bit of that cold front in my part of the continent. Last night, it got down to 37°F and I seriously considered closing the small kitchen window I keep open for fresh air. Instead, I decided to use the comforter when I went to sleep.

Stay safe and warm and cozy! I shall be sure to wrap my banana and put it up somewhere warm and welcoming!

I've a feeling your readers in the frozen areas are lining up to cover themselves in the warmth of those steaming manholes.
