How Big is YOURS?

It has been said that The Mistress has a big one.

A big telly, that is...

It's a 42 inch screen.

How big is YOURS?

Use this guide on how to measure your TV screen, if you don't already know.

    1. MAGO & DAMIEN: Embarrassing as it is, once upon a time The Mistress thought that you measured a TV screen by its width, not diagonally.

Fortunately, someone told me how to measure it properly. Otherwise, I would have needed a guide like this. Or a call to my Personal IT Consultant, LX.

    2. Es gibt keine dummen Fragen.
Es gibt nur dumme Antworten - und die fallen auf den zurück, der sie gibt.

I had to learn it too, and always was wondering what these two small signs would mean - '' - until someone finally told me that it is inches.

    3. MAGO: You’ve had the metric system since 1870 in Germany so it’s no wonder you didn’t recognize the inches symbol.

  4. I was satisfied with my last tv at 32 inches. I don't have the space nor need for a huge tv. Then my 32 inch died & I went up to 40 inches. It's true what they say: It's hard to go back when you've experienced bigger things.

    1. EROS: 32 inches sounds more than satisfying.

But no, you had to go bigger.

    1. LX: Yes, for some odd reason, there are still a few things here that are measured using the old system.

  11. I've only got 20 inches. The cable guy noticed that my iMac had a bigger screen than the TV. I'm use to a small screen. It's only ten feet away. I don't need a drive in theater screen.

    1. JEFFERY: If you ever want the drive-in experience without leaving home or getting a bigger screen, there’s this.

  13. I forgot, sorry ; The screen is 54 cm, equals, wait a minute ... 21 inches - should be 22 I guess, had to fondle with the Metermaß / Lineal / ruler - sorry I only have this wooden one here, it's a bit laborious ... and no tv of course ...

  14. I, too, have a big ol' 42 incher. A friend's mother died and he badgered me into taking it, even though our old one was still just fine. If I had known how heavy both of the motherfuckers were and what a hassle getting the old one out and the new one in, I would never have fallen for it.

Have you seen the Netflix show "Grace and Frankie" with Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda? It's very good, especially the second season.

    1. PEENEE: A friend who knows my taste advised me that I wouldn’t like “Grace & Frankie.”

However, I’ve always found a Peenee recommendation to be worthwhile following so perhaps I’ll give it a shot.

    2. JIMMY: Another Frankie booster. Obviously, i don't know what I'm missing.

    1. MR. DeVICE: But you’re probably 10 inches taller than Damien. And the rest of us too.

  16. I wonder how Damien's hangs? Or is it propped up in some fashion. 32" is all that will fit (with ease) here.
