    2. Twice. First in the early nineties when it was on some private channels. Second 1996 when RTL did it completely (I guess). I watched it sometimes in the early nineties, never saw the original, so I have no clue how it was done. I liked Wilson the neighbour. But basically I was more of a Bundy bloke. Some of these were really good & funny on many levels, some were plain cringeworthy .

    4. I think some of them were done pretty good.
But I hated (and still hate) the laughing machine.

I liked Al. For a time it was something like an anchor. A good reason not to go insane.
I am glad that this is over. I never wanted to see the series again, all that is connected with it, for me, is gone.
There was a really bad German try on "Married with Children" that should be buried somewhere in the desert. By RTL I think.

Interestingly I remember some series, like MASH, Night Court, The Saint (yes, it was repeated back then, hey!), perhaps some others - it's all when private channels came to Germany, late eighties, early nineties, and I was hanging around a tv late at night for whatever reasons. They had to fill their slots.

      Ende und over.
