With a freshly fallen 9" of snow, 45mph winds, and it be 9 degrees out, worry not my banana is in the good hands of others! Not to mention my specially made banana cozy.
The second freeze related Infomaniac Public Service Announcement within 24 hours - did the houseboys suffer from over-exposition when they were allowed their ten minutes in the backyard ? Really - it's not that they grow on trees, youknow ?!
Sorry I'm running late Darlings... Ooo... you all look a little stiff... Must be this gawd awful cold snap... But anyway...I've been frantically whipping up some of These... And I'm not leaving until they are all passed out...and snugly fitted...
-38.2°F! Holy moly, that's cold! I think we're feeling a little bit of that cold front in my part of the continent. Last night, it got down to 37°F and I seriously considered closing the small kitchen window I keep open for fresh air. Instead, I decided to use the comforter when I went to sleep.
Stay safe and warm and cozy! I shall be sure to wrap my banana and put it up somewhere warm and welcoming!

ReplyDeleteCurrently, with the “wind chill” factored in, it is -39°Celsius…for you Americans, that’s -38.2°Fahrenheit.
Swaddle your banana.
I've got shrinkage just reading this...
DeleteIs it true that one freezes on to it when one kisses a banana outside under these circumstances ? Has someone tested ?
DeleteTested, hmmmmm, like would someone actually do that. Not that I have.

Oh how fun, aren't you lucky! *makes mental note to never visit Mariah Jumbles during the winter* Is the vodka fountain and ginuzzi frozen over yet?
DeleteFree-flowing liquids never freeze... Jx
DeleteI thought that we were on Mars.; must be mixing up the medication again.
ReplyDelete"When Ottawans awoke Thursday morning to dead car batteries, steaming manhole covers, reluctant-to-pee pets and crunchy snow -- it was -29C."
ReplyDeleteI've a feeling your readers in the frozen areas are lining up to cover themselves in the warmth of those steaming manholes.
"STEAMING MANHOLES"
DeleteI'm not saying another word.
Thank you, I think I'll take a pass on the Infomaniac Banana Daiquiri...
