PS Hurricane Lilies, and the blue is apparently a Mexican Petunia...
That's what they are. Fitting that they showed up right after our latest hurricane.
DeleteI figured AyeM8y would have a beautiful spread in nature. Im only surprised we didn't see his bird of paradise.
ReplyDeleteIf you embiggen the picture you'll see it.
DeleteIt looks like a wonderful bird of paradise too, full of warm sticky sap.
DeleteOh yes.....know I recognize ypu!!!! When are ypu visiting philly again???
DeleteThank god he doesn't mulch.
ReplyDeleteI don't really even cut the yard myself. I usually just waltz around nude.

I'm glad Jon recognized the Hurricane Lily because I think it's fabulous. I've seen the Mexican Petunias before, but I never knew what they were. Jon is just useful, don't you think?
ReplyDeleteYou make me sound like a piece of utility furniture :-)

I agree with Jon - it's good to see some sunny photos, especially after the day we had yesterday.

ReplyDeleteI have a few things that pop up after good rain, too, but nothing like yours!
Another exotic spread with rather beautiful volunteers (some sort of Nerine?).
