The TENTH Annual Garden Photos Event has begun! Formerly hosted here on Infomaniac, the capable and green-thumbed Mr. DeVice is now "the host with the most" of this popular event.
Click here for the first submission which just happens to be The Mistress's gigantic sunflower.
Although these sunflowers bear a striking resemblance to The Mistress's sunflowers, they are not, in fact, The Mistress's sunflowers. Nor is that The Mistress.
There will be more entries in the Garden Photo Event so be sure to visit Mr. DeVice as updates happen.
Many thanks to Mr. DeVice for graciously taking over the hosting of this annual event. He's done a splendid job.
Your sunflowers are gorgeous! I forgot to say on Mr Devine's post because I was so overwhelmed by flicking through the old garden post links.
ReplyDeleteThanks to both of you for keeping this thing going!

"Nor is that The Mistress."
ReplyDeleteFAKE NEWS
Putcha hand on your hip and
let your backbone slip darling!
Be careful of the spines, dear. Don't want a case of Lichen planus from your Helianthus giganteus! Jx
ReplyDeleteIsn't your gigantic sunflower old news by now?
ReplyDelete...and big enough to park a bus in, honeychile!
DeleteIt apears the sunflower's been fluffed, but someone neglected to do the same for the gardener.
ReplyDeleteChez The Mistress, there are new sunflower sprouts pushing up through the snow!
ReplyDeleteSnow!?!
DeleteAlthough, I really don't know why I'm so shocked...
[unrelated, sorry]
ReplyDeleteThis story may be interesting for you - I do not know if you use canned (=prefab) beverages, or prefer them freshly prepared ?
MAGO: The Mistress shuns canned beverages most of the time. Freshness is key! Thanks for the link.
DeleteCan they be pinched out for a tidier bush with multiple heads?
ReplyDeleteIf it's advice you need regarding a tidy bush, best ask Miss Scarlet.
