One of my best friends in Hawaii--we can talk for three to four hours once a month. Usually, we talk about everything and nothing. It's just a laugh fest as we discuss the latest ups and downs of life and some gossip on others we know. She's one of the funniest people I know, aside from you!
The time difference means it's after dinner for her and midnight for me when we start yakking. And a few times, I have talked with her while wearing just a towel--I had just stepped out of the shower.
Of late, most of my long conversations have been with my daughter, super nana, while she's commuting out in lalaland's extensive freeway system! Conversations are usually all over the place. xoxo
I’m phone phobic as a rule. The longest phone calls I use to have with with a friend who did all the talking. All I had to do was say hello and shut up. Then say yes and no once in a while. To get off I would have to tell them I had to go.

ReplyDeleteHis short towel makes the conversation seem even longer.
ReplyDeleteAnd....I'm enjoying his cord.
ReplyDeletePhones in bathrooms...kind of rare, and I found the housekeepers who had them installed their were not big on keeping their bowl fresh.
DeleteAs for you, Norma, I wouldn't be surprised if you tapped his line.
Very late last night after the hockey game. The PM.
