Perhaps I shouldn't have binge-watched TV series on Netflix when I was meant to be studying...

To cheer myself up after this crushing blow, I shall be 'round to visit you all sometime this weekend. I'm especially intrigued by such blog post titles as "Not the Hats of Barbara Cartland" by our Mr. DeVice.
The Mistress just needs a little discipline...
ReplyDeleteBanning someone would make me feel better.
DeleteJudging by Ms Scarlet's comment, she's up for a banning!

Don't know much trigonometry
Don't know much about algebra
Don't know what a slide rule is for"
- Sam Cooke
I look forward to your visit. I wiped the loo seat. Jx
Oh dear. You should be made to wear crocs whilst viewing.
ReplyDeleteSx
I'm sure it was a close call. Pop over when you get a mo and I'll see if I can find you a commiseration hat from Dame Barbara's stores.
ReplyDeleteA Croc hat!!
DeleteSx
Are you trying to get me banned, too?
Delete::whispers:: I'll see what I can do...
I've found one! Pork Scratching, by Hermés - A whole hippopotamus flash-fried in Castrol GTX and enveloped in the finest mango Bakelite Croc. Weather protection exclusively provided by Ronseal.
DeleteOh. Mr Devine, I fear you have gone too far.
DeleteYou just sit quietly here whilst I run for the hills...

HUGGY JON: I bent over backwards to succeed.

ReplyDeleteMADDIE: Peeps for Easter!
DeleteEducation is SO overrated, don't you think?
ReplyDeletePEENEE: I’m beginning to think so.
DeleteTo clarify, I really should say that I didn’t actually FAIL, I simply didn’t do well enough to achieve a certain standing.
so missy, what was it you binged on? OITNB?
ReplyDeletethe lovely underwoods? do tell......
NORMA: If you MUST know, it was Tina Fey’s sitcom, “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” and the U.K. detective drama, “Scott & Bailey.”
DeleteIf one thinks about it - the first part of life is a continuous series of tests, be it school or job (qualifications, further training) - even unemployment, if you want to get help, you have to qualify for it, test required.
ReplyDeletePerhaps the whole life is a test.
Anyway at the end one will be told the results - a bit unfair, while nobody is allowed to look into the rule book, a bit like an assessment centre.
Scotch'n Bailey's I can agree with, a can of coffee, a bottle of moonshine and a spoonful of cream - the day's my friend ...
Don't look so sorrowful, m'love, jezz isses scho' um's Eck, tits are already out, very nice, chin up.
MAGO: I'm putting the whole thing behind me.
DeleteTits up, indeed!
If at first you don't succeed then cheat! I passed 9 GCSEs that way.
