  4. God I miss New York...
Mass transit and when waiting, that's the best. A good book on a bus or a train is orgasmic...!

    1. WALLY: But in Georgia, you can bring your gun to the library.

    2. Yes, I live a charmed existence in a charming place...

    3. Nowadays, because of the long opening times past the middle of the night, the university library has a security guy at the entrance. But he carries no gun.
Hunting down the rotten egoists who intentionally misplace titles brings the danger of over-enthusiasm ... BLAMM for silence when the portable rings in the manuscript room, Georgia, Du hast es besser ...

I read anywhere, except on the loo, what I find disturbing and detest. Of course I do not take my Erstausgaben in the bathtub, there a simple paperback has to do. Reading in bed is very convenient, even with larger specimens, because I can put them on the floor and look down on them. (Yes, the mattress is not far from the floor.) Sometimes I use a very simple wooden Buchpult vaguely similar to this, but cheaper.

Georgia ... I mean, they have a library there ? At least one.

    4. MAGO: Here is a photo of NORMA using her Buchpult. They’re very handy for reading, writing, or sketching.

I know people who like to read on the loo but I find the idea unhygienic.

      Yes, Georgia has a library.

    5. So the old darling finds some wood in her bed - well done !

Georgia has also no problem with ebony & stuff - it's dreamland !

  7. I like to read in the bath, but I use bubble bath to cover my indecency.

Yesterday, I read in the car while The Father chauffeured The Mother and I to Babyzilla's first birthday. I might even have finished my book if it wasn't for his incessant chattering!

  8. MR. DeVICE: Did you notice that in the second bathtub pic, the ginger is reading a STAR WARS book?

Naturally, I thought of you. But not as a ginger, of course.

    1. I didn't notice the book, but I did notice the smirk on his face. I'm wondering if the Star Wars book jacket is actually hiding a more lascivious-style tome?

    2. MR. DeVICE: Perhaps it’s the print copy of Infomaniac.

  9. I like reading HGTV Magazine so I can curse out the editors while I thumb through and critique their vapid ideas.

On your Barcalounger or your Eames Lounge Chair?

Thank goodness you had Model Studies and stuffed animals to keep you company.

  11. I have a big chair in the living room with the perfect light. I read there and the cat demands that I sit still, goddamit.
