Batten Down Your Snatches!

To those in the path of the "Frankenstorm," we here at Infomaniac advise that you batten down your snatches, er, hatches.

Stay safe, Bitches.

  2. Figures that these hurricanes are all women. With all that PMS and hair removal pain I'm shocked that there aren't more.

    Hope you're all being safe.

  6. Thank you dear!!! It is being battened down as Adam is tending to it! Now currently conditions are worsting...What happening is just this... The wind began to switch - The house, to pitch - And- Just then the Witch - To satisfy an itch - Went flying on her broomstick, thumbing for a hitch........

  7. DAMMIT GET THIS HOUSE OFFA ME!!!!

Stay safe my darlings. No 'storm riding'. Go 'wild baloney pony' riding instead! Preferrably at a temporary location someplace in the Midwest, by which I should be understood to mean midwestern Mexico.

  8. We are hunkered down. And this is one Norma sized storm.

Our 1800s German barometer is at 749mm of Mercury (29.35 in US inches), and dropping. The dogs are sleepy. The eye of the hurricane will make landfall about two hours from our house, but to the north, which for us is a good thing. Think about the folks in New Jersey, New York and Conneticut, they are going to get the worst of it.

  10. To my eastern seaboard friends, I can't stress enough the importance of being prepared for storms and power outages. Make sure that you have enough pills, booze and dope on hand to last at least a week. Also something low-cut and sexy is necessary for flagging down repairmen and hunky Red Cross workers.

    2. Dammit Maddie your place is always...hopping. Hopping? No. Bad mental image.

Which should not take away one iota from the importance of ayem*ty's message...being stranded without ones lifestyle supplies during a major emergency IS A BAD IDEA. Stock up! Or at least go looting once the eye moves in. There's a whole nother storm wall coming, you know!

  11. 90 degrees with a hint of breeze. Yet no one is concerned about kabuki. Kabuki could stun a toe at the pool, or get a bit too much sun. The lonely life of the artiste.

  12. Did someone mention weenies?

We here in the Great White North have been advised to "take down your Halloween decorations." Obviously a bulletin from bureaucrats who cannot bear the thought of us having fun.

Mistress MJ must step out for the evening and has just consumed a large chocolate shake in hopes that the extra weight will keep her grounded.

Whilst I'm away, be sure to keep your snatches battened and your fannies battered.
